GCSE Results Day 2026
We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students and their achievements in this summer’s GCSE examinations.
Our students achieved strong GCSE qualifications, reflecting their hard work, determination and commitment, alongside the quality of teaching, guidance and support they received throughout their time at Sarah Bonnell.
Celebrating success across our subjects
Our students achieved an Attainment 8 score of 52.04, well above the national average, alongside 71% achieving grade 4 or above in English and mathematics.
English and Maths continue to be strengths, with 84% of students achieving Grade 4+ in English Literature and 72.51% achieving Grade 5+ in English Literature. Maths also performed strongly, with 62.7% of students achieving Grade 9–5.
There were also strong outcomes across a range of subjects, including Physics, Urdu, History, Photography, Music and French, alongside successes across Humanities, World Languages, Art, Design & Technology and Triple Science.
Our students have demonstrated the breadth of their talents, with many achieving the qualifications they need to progress successfully to their chosen sixth forms, colleges, apprenticeships and other post-16 pathways.
Outstanding individual achievements
We are delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of individual students.
Subaha achieved Grade 9s in all of her subjects, an outstanding accomplishment that reflects her dedication and hard work.
Our Head Girl, Keziah, achieved an exceptional set of results, including seven Grade 9s and two Grade 8s.
These are just two of the many success stories from this year’s cohort, and we are incredibly proud of every student who worked hard to achieve their personal best.
We would also like to thank our dedicated staff and families for the encouragement, care and support they have given our students throughout their GCSE journey.
